'''Havenside Taskforce (HST)''' was founded when [[Casten Maziel Waryn]] received a CR-90 Assassin-class Corvette at the Falleen Federation's Y14 Anniversary Celebrations. Given that each of his cousins already commanded a Taskforce of their own to serve the '''Waryn United Space Fleet''', Casten felt compelled to start one on his own as proof that he was a valuable addition to the family. Havenside was founded under the belief that Casten could provide a political asylum for the core and extended family within the capital ships he'd amassed, as well as serve as a peaceful nexus with factions outside the family's home. Thus the taskforce quickly took the role of the Diplomatic Taskforce of the Waryn Fleet. 

Later on, with the acquisition of a "Propsecting package" from [http://holocron.swcombine.com/wiki/Shobquix_Industries Shobquix Industries] at the '''Third''' '''Uli Memorial Swap Meet''', Casten opted to assign the Taskforce with infrastructure duties for the family and the Fleet began to grow further, particularly after more military-class vessels were added to the fleet and a subdivision of the Taskforce was needed for the Paramilitary duties of the fleet.  

Although the warfare tactics and security procedures fall on the shoulders of [[Keeya Maelii Waryn|Keeya]], each Taskforce has at least a designated sub-fleet for combat support, either with fighter-class ships or armed light freighters. Similarly, the main medical group relies primarily on [[Crislyn Anessa Waryn|Crislyn]] but sub-fleets have been formed for quick-action responses within each Taskforce.
